Free-cutting "lead-free" brass

Continuous coils or small coils can be provided.

On January 4th, 2014, the Act of Reducing Lead Content in Drinking Water (RLDWA) came into effect, which revised the definition of lead-free, and reduced the maximum lead content of wetted surfaces of pipeline products (such as pipelines, pipeline fittings, pipeline fittings and fixtures) from 8% to a weighted average of no more than 0.25% Pb. This Act establishes a legal method for calculating lead content, and cancels the requirement that lead-free products must meet the voluntary standard for lead leaching of new pipeline fittings and equipment formulated according to Article 1417(e) of SDWA Act. It also supports the industry's demand for lead-free materials and complies with the 3874 Act to reduce lead in drinking water.


Junlicheng's free processing of DZR "lead-free" commercial brass has proved to meet the expectations of manufacturers in many aspects, including easy recycling (and the first real green brass), because it will not pollute lead-containing brass. JLC free-cutting DZR lead-free commercial brass has excellent machinability, the minimum cutting rate is 90% (compared with C360 brass), and its mechanical properties are similar to those of traditional free-cutting brass. It also has a minimum conductivity of 37% IACS (45% higher than C360 brass) and contains no silicon, bismuth or arsenic. It has excellent cold working ability and excellent thread rolling, which can be like copper electroplating.


Junlicheng currently sells products with complete specifications, ranging from solid bars, hexagons and squares with a diameter of 1/16 inch (1.60mm) to 16 inch (405mm), with a maximum size of 4 inch (101mm). We can provide model 3 coils suitable for Swiss processing, and the precision tolerance is+/-0.0005 "(H8) standard. We also sell hollow bars in the same size range (according to customer's specifications). Ingots can be used for remelting, sand casting and permanent casting applications.
